Customer Update Regarding COVID-19

We are currently going through unprecedented times due to the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak. During the last week, businesses have received conflicting advice and our main aim is to look after our customers and your families, as well as our professional teams serving them.

Lawn Doc is a small family-owned local business, which is not part of a large franchise, and we truly care about our community. The safety and wellbeing of all are at the forefront of our minds.

The weather is finally improving following a long, wet but mild winter and I’m sure during this climate when we are spending more time in the vicinity of our homes, we want our gardens to be their best.

We have taken a lot of advice from both experts and the UK Government on the way we continue with our business and will be taking all the necessary precautions to carry on providing our quality service to you and your lawn. We will follow all the government guidelines in order to carry on doing this in a safe environment for both customers and team members.

Lawn Doc plan on continuing to visit our clients and to ensure we keep this safe, we will implement the following measures:

  1. We have handwash facilities and anti-bacterial gel in all our vehicles, along with single-use gloves. The very nature of our operations involves the use of this Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including masks etc.
  2. If access to your lawn is through your house, we will reschedule your treatment until after the virus has cleared.
  3. On arrival at your property, the team will call you via phone to avoid any physical contact. They can then update you on treatments carried out, what we recommend for our next visit and future dates. We can also email you this information so if we don’t have your email address, please pass it onto the team. Alternatively, they can text the information to your mobile number.
  4. Feel free to talk to our teams at the doorstep but we will ensure they are keeping the recommended safe 2m distance.
  5. If you are a premium customer and you pay via direct debit, we will do all we can to ensure that your lawn will have the treatment required and you can relax and enjoy your lawn.

As mentioned, we have taken a lot of advice from both experts and government officials on the way we continue to serve you. We will follow all guidelines in order to carry on doing this in a safe environment for both clients and team members. If any of this information changes, we will update you on our actions, following both guidance and instructions.
